Dr. Amanda Ferguson

Dr. Amanda Ferguson graduated from Auburn University in 2009 with a degree in Animal and Dairy Sciences, and received her Doctorate of Veterinary medicine from Auburn University in 2013. While at Auburn, she was an ambassador for her college, counselor for the veterinary camps and continues to enjoy working with "humans" in a profession geared towards animals. She spent several years working in the Emergency and Critical Care department at AUCVM, and is a member of the Community Emergency Response Team. She performed an internship at Veterinary Medical Center and accepted a job with them after graduation. She is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, avid Auburn football fan, and considers Auburn, Alabama her second home. She has two snotty Scotties named Mckenzie and McCallie, and a lazy mastiff named Ella. Dr. Ferguson loves working with small animals, and still has a soft spot for bovine medicine. Her special interests in Veterinary medicine include surgery and dermatology.
